Tishaa Kumar (September 6, 2003 – July 18, 2024) was a gentle soul, a beloved daughter, and a quiet symbol of strength. Born into the renowned T-Series family, Tishaa lived a life filled with love, values, and faith. Though she left us at the young age of 20, her memory continues to inspire thousands who knew her — either personally or through her family’s legacy.

Early Life & Family

Tishaa was born in Mumbai, India, to Krishan Kumar, a well-known actor-producer, and Tanya Singh, daughter of legendary composer Ajit Singh. She was also the niece of music mogul Gulshan Kumar, and cousin to Bhushan Kumar, Tulsi Kumar, and Khushali Kumar.

Despite being part of a famous family, Tishaa lived with humility. She grew up surrounded by music, cinema, and love — yet stayed out of the limelight by choice, focusing instead on her own quiet path.

Who She Was

Known for her calm personality and radiant presence, Tishaa was deeply spiritual and wise beyond her years. She had a cross tattooed on her right wrist, symbolizing her inner faith. She occasionally appeared at T-Series events, with her last public appearance being at the Animal movie premiere in November 2023.

Health Journey & Untimely Passing

Tishaa passed away on July 18, 2024, while undergoing medical treatment in Germany. Initial reports claimed she had cancer, but her mother later revealed the real story: Tishaa had been misdiagnosed.

Her health complications began at age 15 after receiving a vaccine that led to swelling in her lymph nodes. Over the years, doctors treated her for a condition they believed was cancer. Her mother, Tanya Singh, later clarified that it was not cancer but likely an autoimmune disorder. She urged families to always get multiple medical opinions before invasive treatments.

Tishaa’s death was not just tragic — it became a moment of public reflection on medical safety, awareness, and advocacy.
